Carpets in the Park started in Chicago on Milwaukee Avenue near Six corners, (Irving, Cicero and Milwaukee) by Joseph Taylor. Growing up in the Six Corners area, Joseph worked through High School at some of the Six Corner Establishments. He realized at that time the most Successful Merchants on the Avenue not only supplied a Quality product, but also provided Excellent Service at a Price that someone could afford.
